LA GRANGE 9 RICE 2
The Lady Leps scored 1 in the 1st and erupted for 6 in the 5th for a 7-0 lead. La Grange scored 2 more and beat Rice in Game 1 of the Bi District 2 out of 3 series 9-2. Brandy Hollas and Kimmy Lee each had a triple and Hollas, Liz Schramm and Hannah Sulik also had doubles. Mandi Bertsch got the win for the Lady Leps allowing only 3 hits and fanning 7. Game 2 will be at 5pm tomorrow back at Columbus.
