Iowa Park High School's baseball team wrapped up the District 5-3A baseball title tonight with a resounding 18-2 victory over Wichita Falls Hirschi. Iowa Park is now 7-0 in district and will have the bye in the first round as every other team already has at least 2 losses with only one game left.

Going into the season I kinda figured that IP would have little problem taking district title. Graham graduated a lot of good players from last years Region I finalist, and Vernon and the other teams in the district just have never shown to have good baseball programs.
I think Iowa Park can go as many as two series deep into the playoffs... but if they go beyond that it won't shock me, but it will be an unbelievable great year for them if they do.
Again, taking into account that they will have a bye in the first round.
