Pivni Polevka - Staroceska
(Old Czech Beer Soup)
Yield: 4 servings

2 sl Bread, cubed 1/2 c Butter
4 c Beer, light 1 pn Salt
Caraway seeds 4 ea Egg yolks
2/3 c Sugar 1 c Cream

Combine bread cubes, beer, a few caraway seeds, sugar, butter and salt.

Boil well and collect foam.

Finally add egg yolks mixed with a little cream and heat thoroughly.

it doesnt say it but youre supposed to continually test the main ingredient throughout the process to insure continuity and flavor. this is important. it may take several cases to have a perfect product.
