Default I drove over the harbor bridge into Corpus this evening..

..and saw the Hooks field during the game. the lights were on and the seats were packed. it was an amazing feeling just seeing it in action for the first time. made me want to get outa my car and watch the game from the bridge. minor league baseball sure does have a feel like no other sport

    Default good deal

That's cool man. I read about the stadium today in the Houston paper. Supposed to be the nicest in AA baseball. I need to get down there & see some friends from G-P anyway, so maybe I can catch a game. Those CC Hooks hats are sweet too. Enjoy buddy for all of us!!

It was great!!! Went to the game and arrived at 2:00pm, a couple of hours before the game. Walked around the park and seen all the different angles of the park. Had to ask myself several times if I was really in Corpus Christi actually watching a ballgame. The Hooks lost the game, but it really didn't matter. Just the feel of being at a game this close to South Texas, and actually associated with the Astros is awesome. Welcome AA Hooks! I live for this GAME!! Gotta love it.

unfortunately the hooks came out on the wrong side of the score, but i bet there wasnt a dissapointed person in the house. i am really itching to go to my first game there. ive got a couple friends with season tickets. ill have to mooch off them till the excitement dies down and tickets become available. WTG Corpus CHristi and the Ryans.
