    haha

Around the state, it costs atLEAST $2.00 bucks for a gallon of the stuff...

But my average gas use a day is around $1.98....

How do I manage that, you may ask?

    Two bean-burritos from Taco Bell...

$2.17 and $2.27 a gallon up here...and it usually takes at least 7 gallons to get to civilization and back. $$$$$ (it has been $1.93 for a few months up here)

LOL..good one Ranger Mom. i have a 30 mile commute to work but luckily i have a so-called fuel efficient car. it still hurts seeing $30+ bill for 15 gallons of gas

Thank goodness I only have to go to the office 1 day most weeks - close to 80-mile round trip. I no longer have to fight rush hour traffic, which is a huge savings as well. My oldest has learned the benefits of parking his car in Leander and riding the bus (for free) to UT. That's a relief, since he's not worked since August and most likely won't be working much until he graduates.

id guess filling up 43 gallons (a little at a time) for me and 43 gallons for you , hurts about the same.

Diesel is still more expensive (and it just plain smells better).
