Little bit of an upset to open D20 last night at Navasota. Bellville is down this year from the level they've played at in previous years, but behind a solid outing by P Lucas Luetge and some timely defensive plays, the Brahmas went into Navasota and took the opener from the Rattlers.
Solid outing by Navasota's P as well, Shifflet I believe. I'm not certain, but pretty sure that each pitcher had at least 10-15 strikeouts.
Great win for the Bulls, keep it up guys!
Bellville (1-0) gets Hempstead next,
Navasota (0-1) gets district favorite Columbus next
