La Grange Tennis Team Advances to State Team Tournament
The La Grange High School tennis team placed second behind Wimberly at the Regional Team Tennis Tournament to qualify for the state meet.
La Grange and Wimberly were two of the 10 teams that competed at locations across Texas to earn a spot at the state tournament.
La Grange met Llano in the first round and defeated them 19-0. They then faced Hondo and won 18-1.
The championship game with Wimberly was played at Hays High School. La Grange lost 10-5.
