what other teams were there?
how did the others do? i cant seem to find it anywhere.
You can find the results at www.reporternews.com
I know that Wylie's results went as follows:
1st round - won 19-0 over Groesbeck
2nd round - won 16-3 over Kaufman
Semis - won 14-1 over Wharton
Finals - won 10-9 over Lindale
I know that Lindale beat Vernon in the semis (i think it was 10-1)

I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.
Good job by the Bulldogs and don't worry about the rankings! Wins are what counts.Originally posted by injuredinmelee

Thank you PPHSfan and Keith7!
because only 4A and 5A go by UIL in team tennis . . . 3A on down go by TTCA which is Texas Tennis Coaches Association. In TTCA there are 7 regions with 2 reps from each region except 2 of the East Texas regions which each have 3 reps . . . I think, so instead of 4 teams at the state tournaments, there are 16 teams. But as far as individuals, the first and second places at the regional tournaments go to Austin in May and compete against 7 other individuals/doubles teams.
