    Default Sinton Relay for Life

Ok everyone. i finally have enough information to pass on. The Sinton Relay for Life will be April 8th. My Family Has formed a team in support of my neice who has battled her way through Non-Hodgekins Lymphoma. Nicole was 9 years old in 2002 when she was diagnosed. She and her family went through hell and back during her diagnosing and treatments. It was especially a trying time as she lost her mother when she was 3 years old. Nicole is currently in the 7th grade in Sinton participating in Volleyball, Basketball, and Track and Field. Her stepmother has lost family members to cancer. So we couldnt be more willing to try and raise money to combat this awful disease. For the many who have PMed me about this as well as others who are reading this for the first time, donations can be made through me with checks being made out to the "The American Cancer Society". Please PM me for the address to send your donations. or if you would feel more comfortable just making a general donation to the American Cancer Society click here
Thank you to everyone and feel free to come to Sinton High School football field Friday and Saturday April 8th, and 9th, 2005 to watch our team. I will keep everyone up to date as to how everything is going.

It is for a great cause. Even though I am not on a relay team I have donated money.

Go Sinton Pirates and Lady Pirates! I also like old movies like "Dawn at Socorro." I also like the Tour de France. I like the Pelican West Band located at South Padre Island, Texas. Phil is PhiI is Bill is the compassion police. He is also the Sinton Matador. Some call him the Sinton Prophet. {Also Captain Obvious. } BEWARE OF THE HOWLING BEAR! He's going for the Corner - he's got it! Roy Orbison rules.

i wanted to thank everyone here on the down low who contributed to our Relay for Life team. If you still feel like contributing i suggest logging onto The American Cancer Society and make donations through there.
the relay is this Friday. We are real excited about it. The name of the Team is "Nicole's World Travelers." Wish us luck because i have never participated in anything like this. Thanks again to everyone and to the Down Low for providing this forum to ask for donations. God Bless.

    Mike
