    Default Prayers For Gatesville Community

This past Wednesday morning, Anna Barr, a Gatesville High School junior, was killed in a car accident on her way to school. Her dad, Mike Barr, is the high school principal. Please remember the Barr Family, Anna's friends and fellow students at G'ville High as well as this community in your prayers. Everyone is devastated over the loss of this beautiful young lady.

Prayers from Navasota. It's gonna be tough, trust me. Just remember all of the great times and accomplishments she had.

To the Students of Gatesville from someone who has lost 4 friends this year:

Remember that memories never die, and neither does your love for other people. Be strong, but being strong doesn't mean don't cry, just don't cry without having someone else to cry with. Support each other, and don't use her funeral as mourning, but celebration of life. Don't think of what she was, think of what she is. It's hard to lose a freind, but it's not hard at all to keep them with you. Remember things that we can't control happen. It's a part of the irony of life.

Great advice from someone with way too much experience in grieving. My heart and prayers go out to the Barr family, friends, and community. May some good come from this terrible tragedy so that it isn't a complete and total loss. My own advice: Always let those you care about know how you feel, the regret that comes from not having done so and losing them is a tough burden to carry.
