Good luck to both teams in this huge game!
im continually amazed at our (canyon) girls' dominance. Winning by that much in the state tourney is outrageous. it just goes to show the great system coach Lombard has in place and how much work goes into all the levels. well in other words, girls basketball is pretty much a cult here.
Talent has a lot to do with it too..especially when your winning by that muchOriginally posted by football4life

Canyon and Cleveland both have excellent Girls basketball programs, with great tradition. Go Indians. (I should be able to say that twice had it not been for the boys illegal player.)
Doesn't Canyon have like 33 appearances in the state tourney and 11 state titles? Or something like that?
im not entirely sure, we won some in 4A also, but since the move to 3A, it's been complete dominance. i just know that there are a lot of texas plaques on the wall in the gym, and there arent any guy ones.
Nevermind.
The UIL website is screwed up. They have Winnsboro winning on one box score and Cleveland winning on the other.
Also, all the Austin stations reported that Winnsboro won.
