Well, its final, these two will be meeting in El Campo Tuesday night @ 7 to decide who will go on to the Regional Tourney in Kingsville.

    Any Predictions?

I most certainly am not a basketball expert lol but judging from the way the two teams played Cuero, I've gotta go with Yoakum.

I'll have to take Yoakum in this, only because they defeated a good Wimberley team pretty handily.

According to a Wimberly poster on the TexasPrepLoserSite board, Yoakum only whupped the living crap out of the Texans because of the refs... so WC should have no problem...

Kiddin', I'll go with the Bulldogs in a close one just because they're from the district...

    Good Luck to both teams...

Yoakum should win this one, but it should be a good game.

In that post on TXPREP, I believe it stated the officiating was awful, but the loss was attributed to the lack of focus, hustle and heart of the Wimberley team. Didn't blame the loss on officials.
    Good luck to Yoakum.

Yoakum is 30-3. West Columbia is 19-14. On paper Yoakum should win, but my question is who have they played. Did they have a cush schedule or are they a legitmate contender. The dub played alot of 4a and 5a houston teams who know how to hoop. I think Yoakum played Flatonia? Lets just say records can be decieving. Go necks!

you might be right, but judging from the intensity of how Yoakum played Cuero and WC played Cuero, I am going with Yoakum, but if WC's 3point guys are as hot as they were against Cuero, WC has the edge... on another note about the game tonight.. We ate at PINCHERS in EC and it was really good and quick if you're looking for somewhere to eat before the game
