I think that it is understood he will be backup qb after a few years. Hopefully he can pull a John Elway and win maybe a super bowl or two first.Originally posted by AggieJohn

He signed a 3 year deal for about $14 million. He received a 2 million signing bonus and should receive 2 million for his first year. Most of the money is back-loaded to the final year, but not guaranteed. He should be in Dallas for at least 2 years. Dallas got him reasonably cheap.Originally posted by PhiI C

im glad they got him. it may not be the best, but i do think he will do much better than testaverde did this last year. drew henson will eventually be the starter, but im not sure he is quite ready to be THE starter just yet.
