according to Baseball America. This is remarkable in that Moody is actually a 4A team playing in 5A and last year won the State Title in 5A. Of course this is an opinion poll and will never be settled on the field. But it is an honor to have them so high. Of course if they were in 4A they would be in the same district in football as Gregory-Portland and Calallen so maybe it is good for them. Of course it is also good for Gregory-Portland and Calallan and Robstown that Moody is in 5A in baseball and all 4A schools. Even then if they were in 4A they would be a large 4A school but not the largest.

thats great news. i always thought they were a bunch of underacheivers. they have had so many state championship quality teams, its terrible how they never capitalized until last year.

My wife and brothers-in-law are Moody grads so every baseball season we give each other a hard time about who is better, since our teams don't play each other regularly.
