Default #2 and #3 go down in NCAA Basketball

#2 Kansas lost to Texas Tech on Monday...
#3 Kentucky lost last night to South Carolina...

does this affect the #1 seeds in the tourney comin in march?

Yeah this wont affect it, they are very powerful teams that lost on the road. And not by much either mind you. I see UNC, Illinois, Wake, and then a tie between Kansas-Kentucky-and Duke to get the nod for first seed picks.

Kentucky still has to play at Miss. State, at 'Bama, and at Florida.

Don't bank on them being a #1 seed as of yet.

#1 Seed Locks - Illinois and North Carolina....possibly Kansas.

OSU goes to KU Feb 27. An OSU win could give them a shot at a #1 seed. They would probably need to win the Big 12 tourney also to get a #1. They seem to be peaking at the right time.
