    Default Rockets Legit?

They have won 8 straight, have defeated some decent teams...do you think they are legit to go 2nd round at least?

Depends on who they draw in the first round. But they're a second round-caliber team.

i sorta agree. they have loads of talent, but i think they need another year or two of consistency to become a serious contender for a championship. im still hoping one of our texas teams will be there in the end though.

    Cool

the rockets should win first round and a good chance in second round, their down fall will be their coach. he had lots of talent in ny but never really took advanage of it. rockets need coaching help, bring back rudy t.

As I said in another post, they are playing well. McGrady and Yao are really complementing each other on the court. They combined for something around 50 points last night against the Wizards. I think they are definately legit to make it to playoffs and even win a game, maybe two. hopefully.

They may be the NBA champions instead of the Spurs!!

Go Sinton Pirates and Lady Pirates! I also like old movies like "Dawn at Socorro." I also like the Tour de France. I like the Pelican West Band located at South Padre Island, Texas. The Spurs have to get through the Heat first to win it all. That could be a VERY interesting series. The game this weekend showed that. The Heat are playing very good basketball right now. They will be VERY tough to beat, as show sunday.

The Baby Bulls are turning that program around. They will make the playoffs this year, BEAT Detroit in the first round (they have already done it twice this year, so don't call me crazy), But lose in the second round to the Heat. Then come back next year with loads of experience and make a serious run.

The two teams to watch in the Eastern Conference: the Pacers and the MAGIC.

The Magic have the ingredients to be an awesome team with solid D in the middle of the court and plenty of offense coming from Hill and Francis. I think they make a nice run to round three this year and if they can keep their core together (Francis, Hill, Dwight Howard and Kelvin Cato) they'll be a power in about three years.
