District play for the girls basketball teams of 4-3A was supposed to end this pat Tuesday, yet four of the six teams will be playing against a district foe tonight in a 4-3A girls doubleheader at Big Spring. The undercard starts at 6 and features Merkel and Snyder playing for the 3rd playoff spot from 4-3A while the loser will end their season. In the main event at 7:30 (the game I am really interested in) The Sweetwater Lady Mustangs will take on Wylie for the district championship. Both teams have a 7-1 district record. The two previous district meetings were split with Wylie winning the first meeting 45-43 and Sweetwater winning the second meeting 49-37. These should be two great games.

Merkel beat Snyder to win 3rd place, i dont have a score. And dont have any word on Sweetwater/Wylie yet.
