    Default How About Savannah State

MACON, Ga. (AP) -- Jacob Skogen scored 18 points and James Odums added 16 to lead Mercer to a 94-62 victory over winless Savannah State on Tuesday night.

The Tigers (0-26) trailed by one point with 16:47 remaining in the first half. The Bears then went on a 25-11 run and took a 36-21 lead.

Mercer (13-8), which had 14 players score, put the game away with a 14-2 run at the start of the second half.

Damitrius Coleman had 12 assists for Mercer.

Mark Williams led the Tigers with 22 points. Sherard Reddick added 19 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. (ESPN)

They are going to be the second team in the past 50 years to go to winless unless they win one of ther next two games.

If you look at the comparison between them and the 92 Prarie View team that went winless, Savannah State looks a WHOLE lot worse. You gotta feel bad for a team like that. Especially since ESPN is doing a special section just for them on the website.
