Default places to see and eat at in Houston

Im taking my wife and 16 month old son to Houston for Valentine's day weekend. I havent been to houston in almost 15 years. We're gonna go to the zoo for sure, but i was looking for more ideas and places to chow down.

    Good BBQ - http://www.goodecompany.com/restresults.asp?restID=4

Downtown there are several new resturants downtown. One I have yet to make it to is the Downtown Aquarium.

No... But, they are in walking distance of each other on Kirby just off of 59 inside the 610 Loop.

In keeping with the Pappas family tradition, their hamburger joint, is one of the best around. It's on Westheimer, just down from the Galleria. If you want good Italian food, Macaroni Grill is just across the street. We eat at these two places frequently.

Not to mention... there is a play area outside & a 100 foot high ferris wheel on site too.

You can't miss it when you drive on I-45 North past downtown.

An absolute must for Valentines Day! PURE PURFECTION
The atmosphere at the Aqaurium is great but the food isn't that awesome. My advice is to have drinks and appetizers there, and then move on.
