when i was young i wanted to go spend Fat Tuesday on Bourbon St. but now it seems like such a mess and waste of time. Anyone plan on going? for those who have been, was it worth going?

ive never been on fat tuesday, but ive been on bourbon street during mardi gras, the super bowl was also in new orleans the same day we were there....it was WELL worth it....

ive been during sugar bowl week... i remember florida state and georgia players in the street... new years eve... man, that was a great week.

here is the add for the Mardi Gras celebration in Corpus Christi at the Concrete street amphitheater. my only question is, Wouldn't jazz music be more appropriate? im not sure cuz ive never been to the real thing.
