    Default Emmitt Smith to retire?

One paper is reporting that Emmitt Smith will retire and is part of a group wanting to buy the Minnesota Vikings. If this is true, hopefully he could someway retire as a Cowboy. He should be put in the Ring of Honor next season.

A friend of mine worked for the Cowboys in 1999. He invited me to spend several days at their training camp. Emmitt Smith is one classy player. He has total dedication and respect for the game. He is very well-liked by his fellow players and coaches. The one thing that stood out about him, is that he really enjoyed playing football. It was fun for him and there wasn't anything else he would rather be doing.

Bull's Eye, how's my friend with the mustache? Haven't heard from him lately. Let him know we think of him. Yes, Smith is a great guy and loves football. I am looking forward to tomorrow-- should be an exciting day for a few Brahmas--Sanders going to SMU and keep wearing red (and blue, oh well) and Jabow going to Southern Arkansas, I think. Maybe Benjamin is joining him. Rice is getting some good guys, too, I hear. Keep watching...

Emmit Smith was one of the best to play the sport of football! #1 all time rusher in the N.F.L. and he has 3 Super Bowl rings to go along with that! He will always be a Dallas Cowboy to me, what a great player!

He's doing great! He was asked by Sanders to be present during his signing with SMU. I thought that was a very special thing for an outstanding young man to do. Good luck to Benjamin and Jabow!
