I dont understand that question. Is it the first woman president that we had to speak to, or that we had speak?
This sounds like a thinking man's question, so that leaves me out!!!! LOL

WTG (Way to Go) red!! I am astonished! Great historical recall! It was Mrs. Woodrow Wilson - a remarkable woman. President Wilson was ill much of his last year in the white house and there were times when only the most important matters got his attention and Mrs. Wilson was the one who decided what and when got to him while he was ill. So she made the presidential decisions so to speak.

Yup. He had a severe stroke late in his term as he was trying to creat the League of Nations.
I saw that on the recent series "The Presidents" on The History Channel. Great stuff.
Purple they also show a movie about his life on tv once in a while which seems to be fairly historically accurate. It was called Wilson with Alexander Knox. The movie was made in 1940 I think and Knox won an academy award nomination. Ironically he was from Canada though. It is a great movie and is shown from time to time.Originally posted by PurpleFreddy
