Also on No. 20 Mike Ditka (spelling?) came under fire for allowing nonsense (the refrigerator) to score instead of a legend (Walter Payton). It is a decision he later said he regreted and well he should.

i dont understand what the big deal about the 'fridge scoring and payton not is. football is a team effort, not a one man show, even though walter payton was one h**l of a running back. the point is points were put on the board by the team, not an individual.
