    Default shoulder surgery

    I have to have shoulder surgery and i was tryin to figure out information about it. If anybody has had it will u please tell me a little about it.

    like as far as the rehab and how long i will be out of my normal activities and if it ever is really the same.

    There are several different shoulder surgeries, each with different prognosis. AC joint, rotator cuff, labum, ligaments and bone spurs. Which do you have?

    dr. told me that pretty much everything is streched out so its ligaments

    football, my sophmore year i dislocated them both in one game and just popped them back in the defensive huddle and kept playin and ever since then i havent been able to keep them in. During my exam at the Dr. he dislocated both shoulders just applying a little pressure to it

    Depends on which doctors you are going to, hopefully it is Southwest Ortho & Spine Center. More than likely they will do one at a time and go in several small holes and try and shrink those ligaments to tighten things back up. I am not going to put his name on here put PM me and I will tell you who you need to talk to as I am think he had a similar problem and had that surgery. I thought you had that done, or at least one of them. Important thing right now is to work on Range Of Motion and as much strength as possible so recovery will not be as hard. Anyhow hope that helped PM me and I will get you more info.
