The local newspaper announced a Jasper transfer to Barbers Hill. According to the reporter Gilbert Moye will be playing football in 2005 for BH, not sure what position. He was reported as being a pretty good QB, but who knows where he will fit in at BH.
Since most people are trying to work (except those from East of Beaumont) and will not read any further than this, the above is NOT true and was an offseason jab at my Jasper friends.

I just heard SKidmore didn't think he fit into their scheme for next year and Moye's family has reconsidered...

Yeah....apperently...the BH coach didnt think that moye would fit into the scheme of losing...so...they sent him packing.....i talked to gilbert today at school...he was devastated.

well right now lake worth could use a proven varsity qb, so maybe his parents could consider taking a job in fort worth, to make that a reality

NO, that must have been someone else. Even WOS could have beat Anahuac in 2004. My gosh, we held them to 26 yard total offense. I would have never predicted Anahuac to beat WOS, as much as I would like to have seen it.Originally posted by X Man

Maybe that is why BH doesnt get past the second round because they dont have a athlete like Moye. No Coach in is right mind would deny a player of his caliber. Plus why would he leave Jasper?
