    Default Re: HIGH scoring Kountze

I remember one time in the 1970s that Corpus Christi Moody and Kingsville played a game in which both teams scored 100 points or more. Moody won 129 to 100. It created a sensation at the time.

Go Sinton Pirates and Lady Pirates! I also like old movies like "Dawn at Socorro." I also like the Tour de France. I like the Pelican West Band located at South Padre Island, Texas. Phil is PhiI is Bill is the compassion police. He is also the Sinton Matador. Some call him the Sinton Prophet. {Also Captain Obvious. } BEWARE OF THE HOWLING BEAR! He's going for the Corner - he's got it! Roy Orbison rules.

they scored 125 but gave up 68. If they play better defence they should win state. again.

They played Hardin........ That poor athletic program has been in trouble for some time now.

I don't think Kountze is not as good as they were last year. They got handled in the BH tournament recently.

jody....kountze lost a close game to HJ...hardly anyone to lose sleep over losing too and you know it.

Hardin has had a very respectable BB program the last few years...of course Kountze has Hardin's old coach and HJ has Kountze's old coach.

How many times has BH put Kountze, HJ, or Hardin on the same side of the bracket as BH in their tournament? It was a shame that Kountze and HJ had to play in the semis instead of the finals...

I was wondering if anyone would bite on that one...LOL Kountze and HJ are very good teams. I don't know a stining thing about Hardin, other than there are a few good fishing holes in the oil fields.

I haven't followed BB this year and don't know much about Hardin other than they run the old HJ system while Joubert was there..I suppose they still do.

Kountze is good but at the same time they barely beat Argyle in the Baggs Tourney. I hope they do make it to state because it will be a good game.

West Columbia beat Sweeny the other night 95-36. They could have scored alot more if the coach would have kept pressing but he quit after the first period. It was like 33-4 after 1. 59-12 at halftime.

Danny Heater sets the national high school record with 135 points on Jan. 26, 1960, playing for
Burnsville, West Virginia as they defeated Widen 173-43.
