I played football at SMU. I was recruited by Coach Bryant who at the time was at Texas A&M. I told him I would follow him anywhere in the world but A&M. Abe Martin at TCU told me not to go to SMU where I would have to wear suits but to TCU where I could wear t-shirts and Jeans. Even then I had a premonition about the swinger I was to become and told him that I had worn t-shirts and jeans all my life and that that was what I was going to college to escape. I played for the Cowboys in the 60s and was the starting quarterback for them beginning in 1963. I threw many bombs to Bob Hayes the great sprinter. I later was on Monday Night Football with Frank Gifford and Howard Cossell. Who am I?
