Wharton played a great game all around.I would like to see j.washington carry the ball more 20-25 times a game.I have two complaints when the coach tells you to leave the punt alone do what your told.The other one is when we took over on downs with 19 seconds on the clock why did our qb take the snap from the shot gun formation instead from under the center to take a knee? Any way it was great effort & congratulation on the win.

I agree about Washington!!
Fielding the punt was just a slip of judgement.
He took the snap from shotgun because we have messed up a few under-snaps this year, but you should be able to take a snap and take a knee.

Do ya'll know for a fact that the coaches told him to field the punt??? Even if the coach did tell him to field the punt, the coaches you are putting down, are the same ones that won the ball game for you.

Im not downing the coach on the play where the kid fumbled the ball,you could here the coaches telling the kid get away from the ball.But i was concerned taking the snap from the shot gun to end the ballgame.Enough about that we needed the win bad and i hope maybe now we can get on the right track.The big guy played a great game,and he needs to continue playing like that.

No i do not have a son playing in wharton.But i do have a cousin that starts for bay city.I graduated from bay city in 1979 my jersey number 76.We went all the way to semfinals but lost to gordon wood and the brownwood lions 31-28.I still think that win against brazosport was a big one.Good luck this sat. against aransas pass.
