Yoakum has a pretty good team once again. Rice's quarterback was injured last friday night. I don't know how bad it was, but if it was severe it is not going to help the Raiders chances. Yoakum whipped Giddings last friday night. Here it is: Yoakum - 25 Rice - 18. Sorry Raiders!Raiders

i dont make predictions but this should be a great game. both programs have had lots of success the past 4 yrs. yoakum has played in 12 playoff games the past 4 yrs. making it to q.f. in 2002. rice has played that many or more making it to q.f. last yr.
both are very displine teams and very well coached.

I don't much about Yoakum, but I do know what Rice's Huffman can do. Every Bellville player has told me that he was the best runner that they had faced last year. Better than Crew, Smith and Andrus.

Does anyone know the status of the Rice Quarterback??? I think this will be a great matchup Friday night. Rice's defense is always tough and with Huffman anything can happen! GO RAIDERS!!!! G.A.T.A.!!!!!!!

Haven't heard anything on the QB, yet. This should be a tough game. If the Raider D plays the way they should, the Raiders shouldn't have a problem, with or without their starting QB.
All the Offense has to do is hand off to Huffman and he'll do the rest.
    Go Raiders!!!

Yoakum is VERY disciplined and well coached.
Have many starters from last years team back.
They dont do a whole lot on O, but what they do- they do well.
Rice, dont know. but they did beat sweeny.
Im gonna go with Yoakum by 14.

    Default I am picking Rice

I haven't seen Rice this year, but I saw Columbia on Friday. They beat Yoakum 28-10, and I am quite certain that Rice could beat Columbia.

Yoakum by 10 in this one, And Columbia would get on Rice, cause they beat B-port, who is much better than Rice.

I herd that the QB for Rice had a dislocated shoulder. I'm not sure on how long that would take to recover. But they may or may not play him. Might just wait a game to be sure, really don't want to rush anything because district is comeing up soon!

I don't know a lot about either team, but I'm not sure how strong Yoakum really is. Rice is going to run the football, and probably do it succesfully. I will have to go with Rice in this one.
