Right before you leave. Take all of the clothes and all of the money that you plan to take and lay them out on the bed.


NOW, take one third of the clothes and three times the money and you should have a good time.

P.S. And this is very important. Make sure you have your return trip paid for BEFORE you get to Vegas. There have been many a poor soul not have a quarter to make a phone call, when Vegas got finished with them.

yea, sell your plane ticket too some unsuspecting fool and dont go. a friend who went to college there said that the only way too not loose all your money there is to eiter dont go, or live there and dont go to the casinos, so i think your best bet is to stay home and donate your money atleast that way its going to a good cause and you still wont have it...

There is a ton of great food and entertainment to be had in Vegas. Spend as much time as you can eating and watching shows, and as little time as possible in the casinos.

Never pay for a drink. Most places if you play you drink free. You can play the nickel slots and still get free drinks, but the service sucks with the nickel slots. If you tip $1 for each drink your service improves a little.
Go try the highroller(roller coaster) at Vegas World and tell me how it goes. It supposed to be the highest coaster in the world.

I would recommend deciding up front how much you can afford to lose. Set that much aside to gamble with and when it's gone, QUIT. If you come out a winner, all the better, but not many do.

The most success I've had playing slots is to sit back and watch other people feed money into the machine, then when they get disgusted and leave, go play that machine for a while. As soon as it pays more than you've put in, Stop and watch another machine.

As well as having a limit to the amount of money you are willing to lose. Set a limit to the amount you are willing to win.

I now this sounds silly, but listen carfully.

There have been millions of players that were 'UP' a lot of money before they lost it all. If you don't set a winning limit, and you play long enough, you will give it all back.....and that is a promise. The only folks that ever leave with more money than they came in with are the ones that are disciplined enough to set a strict limit on the amount they win, or the time they spend at the table.

Nobody ever walks out a winner if they play until they think they have won enough.

Some great advice there. I was up $200 on quarter slots and ended up down $50. Not fun at all.

Bingo! And that is exactly how I ended up $200 to began with.

I've played using my strategy about four times in different places, and have come home with more money than I went with every time. Most I ever won was about $160 playing quarter slots. My brother was with me, and played the same machine the whole time. At one point, he was up about $500 and ended up losing it all back. Of the six people that went that particular time, I was the only winner.

I have only been to Vegas 1 time. When I finally got there, I only had $167 dollars to play with.

I played the quarter slots and stayed strictly on the Joker Poker machines, (since I am a mean poker player anyway).

I won a jackpot of $250 (would have been $500 if it would have been a natural straight instead of having a wildcard) and about 5 minutes later I won another $250 jackpot.

I was with my mom and each time I got a free dinner for 2 at some swanky restuarant.

I put that money up and still had about $150 to play with. The next night we were in a casino and I wasn't playing but was watching my mom when a security guard asked me for my ID. I didn't have it with me but told him I was 25, a mother of 3, and was there with MY mother. He didn't care, he made me leave.

I didn't have my ID with me at all, I had left it in Midland. When I told him I had hit the jackpot twice the night before, he told me if it had been over $500, I couldn't have gotten it without an ID.

So.....my advice to you is: Take your ID!!
