I know that occasionally someone will post a thread in the football message board about baseball, basketball, etc. Why not create a basketball or baseball or whatever other sport message board? That way when football season is over, other sports can be discussed with the same fervor.

If you start breaking it down too much, then you have to go too many places to find interesting stuff. It's best to keep it all together.

If you have a bunch of different forums, you have to have a bunch of moderators. It makes it hard on them and on the normal reader.
