Well as I said, the defense came threw. Holding quero to only 6 points and an extra point blocked by Rice. Raiders scored frist with a Micheal Spears Fumble recovery and ran back it back from very far in Rice territory. I told you he would have a big game and he did. Also more great defense by Jess Little and Rusty Moore. There was alot more action but to much to remeber so anyways just let yall no! and also we play sinton next in victoria. Should be a great game! Good day!

I agree sinton! I thought we would have to wait a year until the Jr's this year became seniors but it looks like there doing just fine =) It's a very good defense! ( I like defense more then offense ) Well I just want to see sintons D! It will be beautiful! Anyways Good day!

This is really how I honestly thought this game would play out. Rice looked very sharp on defense and the offense is getting there. There were still too many dropped balls and missed blocks. Cuero is just not that good this year but its still a solid win for a young team over a traditionally powerful school. Now comes the real test, Rice vs. Sinton.
And Rice student, FYI, its Cuero with a "C".

It was a good game by Rice. Their defense was phoenominal. Anytime a team gives you four fumbles from 40 yards out and you don't capitalize on them ,you deserve to lose. Gobblers offensive line has yet to produce some consistency in blocking for the run and pass protection.
QB Brandon Mays didn't have much time to set up in the pocket and had to do most of his passing on the run. He was sacked 7 times.
