Post did u know that LT (SAN DIEGO CHARGERS RB)

ORIGINALLY CAME FROM MARLIN. during his freshman yr he was a tight end on the jv team. everone knows that when your in marlin u are not realy noticed until u reach the varsity level. since he wasn't able to play in the backfield where he wanted to be he moved to waco university where his chance of playing rb came alive. lt still comes to marlin alot and visits his family here. he will be the first to tell u that he wore purple and gold before purple and white .do u think that head coaches should look at their freshman and jv teams and look at the talent that is there

an interesting little sidenote for college football fans....you remember that stud safety Tony Bua that played for Arkansas, well he originally came from liberty, played 3 years in the back field. i guess he got scared he wouldn't get picked up by a serious program so he decided to move to a louisiana prep school, where he was scouted by houston nutt and eventually signed...he had sensational numbers here at liberty freshman, soph, and jun years....not too mention he had a studly bat in baseball season too.....

Coaches should look at sub-varsity levels for talent and not be afraid to promote if he feels the player will work out on varsity. That being said not even the best of NFL players were always ready to play varsity ball as a freshman or sophmore. So maybe LT wasn't quite as ready as maybe he thought he was as as freshman.
