It sure looks like district 28 really took it to 27 tonight with Rice and Edna each having their way with Cuero and Yoakum respectively. Congrats on a big win Edna.

Edna is on a role! Yoakum is a tough team as La Grange can attest. I guess they had a let down this week, always a problem after a big win. Also, was Boone out? I bet coach wishes he would have pulled him out in the late 4th quarter when the Bulldogs had it wrapped up before he got hurt. Lots of Lep fans wondered about that decision. He is a blue chip player both ways. Good luck in district Yoakum. I like you guys to win district. Cuero will be your biggest hurdle IMHO.

Trust me, Cuero's program is on a downward spiral. Look for a firing in the near future. Yoakum will be OK, but Gonzales will challenge. Cuero might squeeze into the playoffs, but will lose at least 3-4 games this year.

Congrats Edna! I remember your big bad team(s) from the early 90's. Yall can grow 'em big in that town. Your win last week against a very, very good Refugio team was not to be taken lightly. Now this win proves you can play great football. Good luck this season!
Peeonu, you have a good point.

Congrats to Edna, they did a great job this past Friday. Yoakum was so FLAT. The Enda line is HUGE! They will do well this year. And they must. I think I saw 22 Seniors listed? Again, great job Edna. I'll be traveling to CC West Oso. Go Dogs!

boone set out edna game due to getting knocked out against lagrange.
we have not heard anything in yoakum about crow leaving. he has done an excellent job there and if he leaves it would be his decision.

    Question

bd62-Is the qb hurt or injured.
if so how long will he sit?
Was the back up ok from when the 350 pounder fell on him in the wharton scrimmage.
