Calallen vs Sinton Region 4 Championship
Rematch from a year ago. Sinton wins the coin toss it'll be a best of 3 series. Calallen wins it could be a one playoff.
-
Of course Calallen want a won & Done.
They have good pitchers but only one considered elite, where as Sinton has a stable full of top flight pitchers.

All-American
Jaquae Stewart 11 HR
Rylan Galvan 9 HR
Blake Mitchell 7 HR
Rene Galvan 4 HR
Canon Chester 2 HR
Wyatt Wiatrek 11-0
Braeden Brown 9-0
Jaquae Stewart 7-0 0.17 ERA
Blake Mitchell 5-0
Aidan Moody 3-0 0.61 ERA
18 shut outs and 8 or 7 no hitters haven't look back at stats.
18 homeruns in the playoffs
Last year Sinton Blake Mitchell went 7 innings and Braeden Brown close it out with Canon Chester HR the winning run 2-1
This year Sinton 11 Calallen 3 with Sinton homeruns by Rylan Galvan and Jaquae Stewart. Braeden Brown had a one hitter late in the game before Calallen put some hits together and score 3 runs. Calallen didn't pitch their top 3 in that game.
Calallen lost with their #1 and won with their #2 and #3 against Boerne. Sinton Blake Mitchell is a JR hasn't lost a game on the mound in his pitching career and he tops out at 96 mph so Sinton dont mind a one gamer but prefer a series to get rest of their arms some work.
Great matchup Calallen has a great line up also.

Oh yes it will be the Big show of South Texas baseball. I haven’t heard yet where it will be played but sure would be nice to have a series at the Burger!
-
CC Hooks are out of town Thursday thru Saturday. So there’s a good chance they could play close to home.
-
Rumors are saying Whataburger
-
Whataburger Field Thursday at 7
One game playoff.
-
Chapman must of won the coin flip. It makes no difference. Sinton this year is just loaded top to bttm.
-
Yes Chapman won the coin flip. Not sure if Lamkin is going to be as effective as usual considering the high pitch count he had Saturday and then the short rest.
He's a stud so I'm sure he'll be fine.
-
Critical loss was against Lamkin and that stung him. That loss and short rest might be Lamkin might not start the game but be used to close out the game.
-
Went and looked on Game Changer at the pitch counts of the 3 pitchers who pitched for Calallen against Boerne and they all threw at least 100 pitches.
Sinton will definitely have the advantage as far as fresh pitchers go.

Local news says this game is sold out. 7500+ attendance.
-
Last I saw this morning was a few tickets on the berms and handicapped seating, So I figured it would sell out by the end of the day.
Good thing Texan Live is streaming this game.
-
Will it be on Gamechanger?
-
if we are doing it on TexanLive I doubt it'll be streamed anywhere else....we usually won't stream a game unless we get exclusive rights
