    Wharton has hired Alvin Dotson II as next HC for the Tigers
    He is currently the defensive coordinator for Baytown Sterling.

    Would have thought Gonzo would look for more experience? One year as a HC at Pearsall in 2018.

    Dotson will replace Chad Butler, who resigned after 10 seasons at Wharton, including five as the athletic director and head football coach

    Dotson has been the defensive coordinator at Baytown Lee for the past four seasons. He previously held the same position at Fort Bend Elkins.


    The Tigers have gone 0-10 the past two seasons after advancing in 2009
