    China Spring loses their running back in the 1st quarter against Cuero and the backup comes in and rushes for 167 yards. I hate it for that kid and glad he's not a senior. This China Spring team is ready and I believe will bring home the state championship to McLennan County!

    That is tough on that young man and great job by the back up . To me this also screams that China Spring must have a very good group on the offensive line that help that back up get that 167 yards rushing. Do the Lineman today still like to be referred to as the Hogs or was that just a compliment 10 or 15 years ago ....I am probably one of the oldest members so forgive my dementia . Gilmer and China Spring will be a very good game.
