(CAMERON) The Yoemen football team will have a new head coach next year.

Cameron ISD Superintendent Kevin Sprinkles confirmed to KMIL Friday morning that they have posted a vacancy for Yoe High athletic director and head football coach. The posting also confirms that head football coach and athletic director Tommy Brashear will not return to helm the Yoemen. Brashear ends a 5-year tenure with a 41-19 career record, including three 11-win seasons. He went 21-9 in district play during that time. Sprinkles said Brashear is still with the district but will not be the head football coach or athletic director. The District is currently taking application packets and inquiries. In seeking a new head football coach, the Yoe High program becomes one of the best jobs available in the State of Texas. As a program, Cameron has been a state football finalist 6 times and won state titles in 1981, 2012, 2013, and 201
