Default Rd 2 Area Round: Sinton vs Giddings

Friday Nov. 20 7:30 pm @ Cuero Gobblers Stadium

Sinton has won 6 in a row on the field averaging 43 pts/game in that stretch, giving up 12 pts/game.
Officially on 7 game win streak with their last district game a forfeit.

Sinton loaded with underclassmen only 1 senior starter on offense. They started season with 6 sophomores on defense. Sinton gain a lot of experience last season 3rd round run.

Giddings seen video other than that haven't look up team info yet.

Believe first ever meeting for these teams in football.

Sinton hasn't been a passing team this season only pass some times to their wr's one at 6'4 Davis another at 6'3 Cruz.

This has the makings to be a really good game.

Last game highlights don't mean a whole lot.....1st round playoff blowouts.....(Except for Navarro/Cuero game).

Giddings has lost close games to Bellville week one 34-31 (IIRC Bellville has one loss to Sealy 31-28), Navarro 21-17, and Nastysota 37-35

So, a lot of tight games in this area, with plenty of good teams.

I would like to go to this game, but not sure if I can make it. (Let's see, Weikels in Lagrange, Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner.....)

Will the Sinton group that usually streams this plan to have it again this week?

Sinton 2-3 point favorites in this matchup from DCTF site.

Winner plays the Winner of Wimberly/Hondo game.

Sinton RB Rylan Galvan 1404 yards rushing with 10.3 yards per carry. Has played in 8 games this season. Very young team with experience, they're ready for this game.
