Please tell me what you would do? When they can't even stop a basic play then what do you suggest? We did that to try and get our kicker the School Record. We even backed up 3 times or it could have very well been 95 points. Just remember UIL created this show and having three of these in a row does nothing to get ready for Wimberley and the playoffs. Navarro lost 2 weeks of practice, scrimmage and a first game. They need the reps if it is just basic plays.

Outside of a running clock I don't think there's any way to avoid a nasty beatdown. I watched about 10 min. on live stream then turned off...They're literally playing with a Jr. High skill level.

Exactly and Navarro scored 8 points in the last quarter. They had some speed and nice looking kids but they just are not playing together.

I can live with an Eastside in the district. I actually enjoyed watching them fight on every play with both teams being respectful throughout the games. That novelty has worn thin. I think the UIL didn't have a fricking clue what to do with the rest so guess what. They ruined what was a highly competitive district. This past Friday Navarro did what they needed to do and let the boys have a little extra fun with it too. Kudos Panthers! Run the plays, get the reps. It is what it is, especially this year. Go Texans!

I get the UIL's intention to balance the districts out with 3 groups of six...but it really hurts Wimberley and Navarro

4 of these teams have no Junior High games available. Manor New Tech has a JV but the others from what I am hearing do not. This is a shame because it penalizes Wimberly and Navarro as the both are scrambling to find Jr High, Freshman and JV games.

Lake Worth and Castleberry are 5 min apart and in different regions

I'm assuming there's not much to talk about (adjustments) at halftime, by either team. Navarro/Wimbo will try to create ways NOT score.....which is jacked up.
