    Default 4A DII Region 4 Final - Wimberley (10-3) vs Navarro (13-0)

    Friday Dec.6 @ 3:30 - Alamodome.

The Texans have traveled the tougher road to get here. Battle tested. The odds are definitely against us. I really like our chances though. Go Texans!

At least Raymondville's PA announcer will be nowhere near this game.

For that, y'all should be thankful. LOL

And I'm picking the Slot-T team......again. But I'm appreciative of the Wimberley Texans for shutting Raymondville the hell up.

I was optimistic several weeks back, but our defense has been awful.

Wimberly interior run defense held up decently against RF. Anytime we went outside the tackles though, it was big yardage. Is #44 on Navarro the fullback or halfback?

Well, well, well. No surprise here, who the last two standing are.

Is WT QB healthy from that district loss to Navarro? If so, I like the Texans chances in a high scoring affair. 38-37'ish. If not, don't see 'em hanging around much past halftime. Not sure they learned much from RF game, to stop the T. Navarro run's it better, too.

3:30 KO? Guess they didn't want any fan's in attendance. Being the R4 Final, kid's deserve both fan bases in the masses - there. Nightcap game, 6A-D2 (Brandeis vs. Westlake) might generate some extra sightseers I suppose.

#44 Gutted Sinton in first half right up the middle few times dragging players for extra yards. Sinton handle outside runs pretty good and did make some adjustments in 2nd half but takes a toll to come up with a stop in 4 plays to avoid a first down.

15+ yards routes seem to be there and seen Wimberley earlier in the year and that's something i think run quite a bit. Toss up.

Since the Navarro game..the QB averaging roughly 270yds passing and 3 tds thrown. 63% completion rate.

Both schools with a 12:00 noon release.
