    The loser could wind up missing the playoffs. Can't see that happening to the Birds two years in a row so I'll take them in a close one. Ricebirds get the upset 23-20

    Bright indeed! The Birds O is starting 2 freshmen (3 if you count the kicker) and three sophs. The gray beard in the backfield is Jr. that was first team all district last season. The Birds have lost three Sr starters ( including the QB) to injuries in the last couple of weeks so most of the younguns will go both ways tonight. A win over B-Port would be a good start to that bright future.
