Going with Rockport but Sinton coming off a big win
Hopefully Sinton can keep the winning ways going. Been a rough year so far.
just one common opponent:
La Vernia and both lost 48-26.
La Vernia was up on Sinton 20-14 early 3rd qtr and 35-20 end of 3rd qtr and up on Rockport-Fulton 41-12 end of 3rd qtr.
Looks like and even matchup.
Most likely for the district title unless West Oso turns it up like last season as they're off to a slow start and return good portion of their team.

Rumor has it RF is back in the Slot-T after Sieberts second year of attempting the spread has been an utter fail.
If RF comes out and runs the Slot-T, Sinton is in for a long night. If Coach wants to be cute, then who knows.
Good he went with the spread more in pre-district, those are the games you want to work on them and against good competition. Last two seasons against Sinton, RF threw some early and led to drive stalling. Sinton didn't have line to stop run game.
Great if it's the slot T gets them a chance to show if they can stop it this season, some young kids in there that been holding up ok against the run game. Sinton more senior heavy on defense. Offense 6 sophomores and at times couple of Fr in there also.

Fr and JV vs Rockport-Fulton
Sinton couldn't adjust to stopping the slot T and not sure why they came out passing when they've been a run team this season. Great execution by RF offense at the line, right away showed it was going to be able to run the football.
I prefer the passing game so was glad they started to show they will pass some this season but pretty much abandon the run game in this matchup. Glad to see 6'3 #6 Daelyn Davis start to show some presence in the offense with 3 td receptions.
Sinton has Robstown next and Rockport has West Oso next.
Sinton is moving in the right direction. What class is #6 in? He reminded me in some ways of McGowan with his vertical dominance in the endzone. Refs did a pretty poor job of controlling the players Friday night, on both sides.
Any night RF wins is a good night, any night Sinton loses is a good night. Friday was a great night.
