    Default 2019 3AD2 district 14

It’s finally high school football season again in Texas. Hopefully we can get through the dog days of August injury free and get on to some football weather. The Yoakum Bulldogs are in a rebuilding or reloading mode in 2019. We have some young players primed for playing time and ready to show what they have worked for for a couple of years. Bo has a tough preseason schedule lined up for this young group to test them early and get them ready for district play. Goliad and Edna both bring back plenty of firepower to try to unseat Yoakum in 2019. District 14 once again looks to be a strong district in 3A-D2 this year.

Dog's are very young, and I expect early struggles for them pup's. I'll go out on limb, and pick Industrial to win district this year. Ykm will for sure be better later in season than start. Freshman RB (Jones youngster) could be reason for that. Of course, he really never has been popped. 1 or two touches of the ball, then gone house---hasn't tested him for varsity level. He still has that potential to be one of our best ever RB's IMO. His daddy, a former Baylor RB, has instilled those genes, and work ethic. He has down field vision -- those special ball carrier's have.

Got to look at some video of Jayden and no doubt the kids got potential to be a very good RB. Bo needs to bring him up to speed gradually and give him time to adjust to varsity level football.he also looks good on the defensive side of ball.
Lots of young players getting their turn to show what they can do this season.
