Default BOOM! Horns land Mccoy & move up in recruiting rankings!

Per Yahoo Sports, Five-star recruit Bru McCoy has signed his financial aid agreement to attend the University of Texas, sources told Yahoo Sports. McCoy has been admitted into school at Texas and is preparing to begin classes in Austin next week.

McCoy had been enrolled at USC as recently as this week, but had a change of heart and entered the NCAA transfer portal on Thursday. Part of that decision came from the departure of USC offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury, who left for the NFL shortly after he arrived to become the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals.

McCoy is the No. 1 athlete prospect in the country, according to, and projects to play receiver at Texas. He’s the country’s No. 12 overall recruit and a huge addition to Tom Herman’s second consecutive high-end recruiting class.

McCoy is 6-foot-3, 205 pounds and has the talent to have an immediate impact on the field in 2019. McCoy enrolled at USC, which means his eligibility next season will hinge on an NCAA appeal. The family has been in contract with an attorney and is in the early stages of crafting that appeal.

The arrival of McCoy continues the searing momentum for the Texas program, which won 10 games and beat Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.

Lol I love how you couldn’t stand it and you came back. But it was so predictable, which is the best part
