    Motivation, got plenty. And no mud grass field in this game. Probably going to be one of the best games in South Texas!

    So glad Cuero's Gobbler Stadium was selected over Victoria. Victoria has to do something with that stadium. Once a crown jewel venue for many come playoffs, it has been bypassed over recent years due to poor condition of the facility. Viewing of the game is second to none I will say. Without a track around the field, fan's are right atop the action.
    Voters didn't pass a bond in the latest election. Some corp should use their oil money, and get naming rights, and build something special.

    This is going to be the best game in the area. I’ll be there for this one. I don’t know which team to tell for. Relatives playing for Yoakum and co-workers grandkids for Goliad.

    Old Green yes it was a great game and that’s a testament to the quality of athletes in our district. Just like Thunderdome 2 enter but sadly only 1 moves on. Goliad has a great team just as Yoakum does and soon it may be the Dawgs that hang it up before the regional finals. I’ve got 2 grand nephews on the Yoakum squad and one scored on a TD Pass last night and the other #8 played a great defensive game last night. Thanks to Goliad for playing a great game last night and pushing the Dawgs to play at a higher level than they ever thought they could play. Games like last nights game show us all how great Texas high school football really is and why we love it so much.
