    Last week I posted this:
Hey, where's the interest in this thread? Pulling for Bellville. If Bellville and Jasper both win this week, it will set up a rematch so that Bellville will have a chance to get even for 1959. Joe Ed Lynn starred for Bellville at RB in that game, and went on to star for Sam Houston State. Anyone remember the name of Bellville's other running back"

No replies. Come on Bellville fans, you can do better than that.

Maybe if you didn't try to be so clever, you wouldn't end up looking so stupid.

Jasper's best RB will probably not play because of an ankle sprain. Without him, Bellville could make it competitive. Looking forward to the game!

That's not what Jasper fans have been saying. They say they haven't missed a step without Mr.Hunt.lol...and the scores tend to support that.

You possibly can chase down some of the other Jasper backs. Against a team like WOS, Jasper will need Hunt.

The other running back was Ernie Koy Jr. who went on to star at UT and then play in the NFL for the NY Giants

Good job! After Koy, Jasper had the misfortune of playing Scott Appleton (Brady) the next week! That old AA was loaded that year.

Bellville, I was impressed with the quickness of your team. You never gave up, and Jasper was lucky to escape with a win. It was a much needed shock for Jasper; and it may well give Jasper extra drive for this weeks game with WOS. Now, go to sleep, and stay home next week.
