Apaches are coming into this game as Tri-champs of 154AD1. Gonzales beat Boerne 35=28, Boerne beat La Vernia 42-41 and La Vernia beat Gonzales 43-10. Due to point differential, La Vernia will be seeded 1, Boerne 2 and Gonzales 3. Apaches played very well in district exceot for La Vernia. Apaches have a very strong ground game.

Apaches actually got the 2 seed spot. King was 3rd in 16-4A1.. Tibreaker determines 1st, then headed to head determined 2nd place. LaVernia won 3 way tiebreaker to take 1st. Gonzales’ victory over Boerne gave them 2nd.

UIL bracket shows King as runner up in 16 and Gonzales as third seed in 15. Check it out. I believe that I am right.

I don't know if I am right or not. Bracket also shows Zapata as R in 16 and Boerne as T in 15. Hope it is not a major screw up and just someone mislabeling the teams. My apologies if you are correct Apache Pride.
