Cowboys get another sack and force a punt......will take over at their own 10 yd line now. Let's see if they can drive it down in at least field goal range before the half and burn some clock.

Cowboys are better up the middle or off tackle on the runs.....not on the edges. Prescott gets sacked bigtime on third and 4. Now the punt with 5 minute left from deep. Falcons have it on their own 40.....Cowboys losing in field position on the past two series.

Falcons are good on the pass.....it opens up their running game which is not very good. Now a sure interception by Heath is just not handled and tucked. Same ol' deal for the Boyz.....they just keep blowing good opportunities and cannot capitalize like good professsional teams should......all season long. I think it's a lack of concentration and confidence, not talent. Maybe even discipline......I dunno......but it looks amateurish at times.

That missed interception could cost the Cowboys here......and may come back to haunt them later. This is just the kind of plays that aren't being made we've seen all season by the team.....on both sides of the ball. It's called execution.....or lack of it....when the opportunity presents itself. Just like the Beasley drop of the TD pass earlier that turned into a field goal. Otherwise the Cowboys would be leading this game now.....it makes all the difference in how the game goes forward and how the momentum is carried forward.

So the D holds Atlanta to a field goal......but not without losing an opportunity to capitalize on what appeared to be an easy interception that a high schooler would make.

When you go back and begin to analyze the games that the Cowboys lost......you start seeing the same kind of lack of execution and missed opportunities rearing its ugly head that the more disciplined and successful professional teams just don't do. In this game you have to limit your mistakes and maximize your opportunities......the Cowboys are failing miserably in Football 101 in those paramount areas.
