This Rocket was installed in front of the original High School (first graduating class was 1964) which is scheduled to be torn down in the near future. What to do with The Rocket? The only logical place was Rocket Field and it looks GREAT!! Once the paint job, the lettering and the BLUE light is installed on the top, The Rocket will look really sharp. I realize most of you couldn’t care less about The Rocket, but it’s a special thing to me. If you’ve read this far, thanks for stopping by and if you ever want to get a pic with The Rocket or the Rocket Man , let me know.

I think there’s a plan to get it to blow smoke, but I’m not sure about the sound, but our PA guy may have a Rocket recording in his repertoire.
